Race Report by Yaniv Sivan:

"On the May 16th, Round 5 in the Israeli league took place in Hot Wheels racing track in north Israel. The weather was fantastic. Yaniv Sivan TQ'ed the field followed by Nir Sivan and Adir Zvoloni.

The Final was exciting as usual. At the start of the race the competition was intense. Yaniv Sivan lost his first position on the first lap and dropped to 7th position, and had to make a huge comeback on the rest of the field. Meanwhile, Yaniv Levi took the lead followed by Nir Sivan and Dotan Halevi. 10 minutes into the race Dotan took the lead followed by Yaniv Levi ,Nir Sivan and Yaniv Sivan closing in on the leaders. Yaniv Levi had clutch problems and had to quit, Yaniv Sivan continued his chase and managed to take over second place and was closing the gap on the leader, Dotan Halevi .

On the last pit stop in the 30 minutes final, Dotan Halevi entered the pit followed by Yaniv Sivan. Dotan Halevi came out of pit lane and flamed out and had to restart the engine very quickly while Yaniv Sivan passed him and took the lead. For the final 7 minutes, Dotan tried to close the gap on Yaniv Sivan but in the end Yaniv Sivan won the race followed by Dotan Halevi and Nir Sivan."
